Hey Steve,

I just placed each strobe behind each panel straight on so that the light comes straight through the paneled glass and wraps around her.

Thanks Jason...love the feedback and the images. So, essentially you bounced the light off of the panels (one one each side) at a 45 degree angle or straight on (horizontally from the side)?

Hi Bauhaus,
Thank you for the compliment. In this particular shoot I was hired to shoot the tank tops the model is wearing. I play a big important role in styling. Yes you have to use the clients clothes of course however, accessories such as jewelry, shoes, earrings etc. I choose with the client. It's a collaboration. I made some changes on set as far as if she should wear a skirt with a certain tank top or jeans and which shoes she should wear. The role of the photographer is the same on every shoot.
We discussed some ideas before the shoot and yes a good amount of the ideas changed when we got to the location because I had to figure out where the sun was going to set, look at the backgrounds of the lounge and decide if those backgrounds looked good in the shot.
It's always a collaboration. Remember the client is hiring you for your style, your vision and they want to incorporate that into their shoot.

Jason I love your work. I was interested in how much of a role do you play in the styling of the shoot. Did the client tell you before hand what they wanted, or have you suggest ideas? Also, how much did things change when you got there?
