Yes having great models is VERY important. If you are in a city that has modeling agencies use those models. Models go on castings and see very important people. A lot of times the models seem to think they know what you want, and end up giving you something that is all wrong. I've also been in situations where the model looks good, but just doesn't know what to do. That is why I learned to talk to them, and be really directional with them. At first they seem uncomfortable if the aren't professional models, but eventually they get over, get used to it, and get better. All of the lighting is nice, especially the added light for detail in the hair. I agree, that talking to te model is really important.
