I’m curious how you took this photo and whether you did any other enhancements to this photo. It’s fantastic. The stems fascinate me.

Hi Corey, Thank you very much. I put my Canon 1DS on a tripod very low to the ground. I attached my angle finder on to the viewfinder so I didn’t have to strain my neck. I used a lens hood and set my in camera meter to center weighted. I also over exposed by 1 full stop to compensate for the shadows.
The only thing I did in Photoshop was increase the contrast a bit because shooting in RAW always results in low contrast.

I love the hit of flare… Makes me feel like I’m hinding in the field at my aunts house. We never had open fields at home, but when we visited her in the country we would always play hide and seek in the fields.
